Senior Project Manager (Payment domain)

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing a project from start to finish. This candidate will be able to create a plan of action which will consider a fixed timeline and evaluate risks. This individual should also have experience managing people and be an effective communicator.

Job Description

:

-Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of designated project to ensure that goals or objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters.
-Closely monitor and control project progress to ensure a smooth and timely hand-over of the project deliverables.
-Reviews project proposal or plan to determine time frame, estimation, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project.
-Successfully manage the relationship with the external (client) and internal (Iris) stakeholders
-Responsible for overall quality, scope and budgets management of major projects or programs.
-Recognize and solve potential problems/risks and evaluate project/program effectiveness.
-Point of contact for sales & delivery teams from retail/payments domain point of vie
-Delivered projects using agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban
-Good understanding of TDD, BDD, Pair programming approaches
-Driven agile adoption journeys.
-Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies.
-Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams, ensuring clear expectations and accountability.
-Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular status updates to stakeholders.
Drive decision-making and problem-solving processes to overcome project challenges.
-Ensure adherence to project management best practices and standards.
-Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment, promoting innovation and continuous improvement.
-Manage vendor relationships and third-party resources as needed.
-Ability to manage financials and project plans

Mandatory Skills

-Good understanding of SDLC, Waterfall and Agile Scrum is a must.
-Cards and Payment Domain – Retail Banking experience in Payments
-Industry: BFSI mandatory
-Excellent Communication
-Strong understanding of all aspects of Project Management.
-Good people management skills to drive program objectives.
-Strong client interfacing skills and stakeholder management.
-High Impact communication skills.
-15+ years of Experience in managing medium to large complex transformation/transition/service delivery with large organizations will be preferred.
-Experience in managing and driving technology initiatives in Application and Cloud areas.
