Specialist-Technical Accounting Finance Operations

Your Role

We are looking for Specialist- Technical Accounting  to join the Finance team. You will work with the finance team and will report to Senior Manager Finance. You will be managing all the revenue operation for the company including Technical Memos, revenue recognition, contract management

A Day in the Life

• Serve as an internal technical accounting expert for revenue accounting.
• Manage and supervise revenue accountants.
• Ensuring timely billing and collections for the customers.
• Monitor relevant changes in USGAAP to ensure revenue recognition policies and procedures are in compliance.
• Work closely other functional team to improve system processes and reporting outputs.
• Participate in monthly and quarterly revenue forecast procedures.
• Manage all revenue recognition matters with the external audit firm.
• Manage the monthly close process related to revenue including the timely completion of close items, analytical review, deferred revenue schedule and other reports.
• Participate in research and document technical accounting issues in accordance with US GAAP.
• Support the Financial Reporting team on the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

What You Need

• 5 years of experience in the similar role. SaaS or IT experience is preferred.
• CA/CMA/CPA/MBA

Preferred Skills

• In-depth knowledge of USGAAP ( ASC 606).
• Experience with big 4 will be preferred.
• Candidate should have an exposure of working with industry/ Company. SaaS is preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication skills..
