Role Overview:
The Human Resources Associate will play a crucial role in shaping our HR practices and policies, ensuring they align with our business goals and company culture. This associate level role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in various HR functions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a similar setup, preferably within the automotive or e-mobility industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Leadership:
Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business strategy.
Partner with senior management to drive organizational development and change management initiatives.
Foster a positive and inclusive company culture that supports high performance and engagement.
Comprehensive Recruitment:
Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, from talent sourcing and interviewing to hiring and onboarding.
Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent in the industry.
Work closely with department heads to understand their staffing needs and ensure timely hiring.
Performance Management:
Design and implement performance management systems to evaluate and enhance employee performance.
Facilitate regular performance reviews and provide guidance on career development plans.
Address performance issues promptly and implement corrective actions as needed.
Employee Relations:
Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and grievances, ensuring they are addressed fairly and promptly.
Promote positive employee relations through regular communication, engagement activities, and feedback mechanisms.
Implement employee engagement surveys and action plans to enhance employee satisfaction.
Compliance and Regulatory Oversight:
Ensure compliance with all labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices and legal requirements.
Conduct regular audits and implement corrective measures to mitigate risks.
Training and Development:
Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
Oversee the delivery of training sessions and evaluate their effectiveness.
Support leadership development initiatives to build a strong pipeline of future leaders.
Managing Budgets and Developing Compensation Plans:
Develop and manage the HR budget, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources.
Design and implement competitive compensation and benefits plans to attract and retain top talent.
Conduct regular benchmarking to ensure our compensation practices remain competitive.
Qualifications:
MBA in Human Resources or a related field is preferred, with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. (Candidates from Tier-1 institutes would be preferred).
1-3 years of proven experience in an HR role, preferably in the automotive or e-mobility industry.
Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to work effectively across departments and at various organizational levels.
Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
