Work at Height Safety & Rescue Specialist

Job Location : Stay Home anywhere pan India

Special Advantages of the assignment

:

It is a hybrid part time and flexible job.

Stay at your home and go for on-site Client assignments for 10-15 days in a month only. Do more & earn more. The Position is also open for Candidates who want recuring short term assignments or candidates who are in India for some months / years between jobs in other foreign countries or Gulf.

DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE FOR WORK AT HEIGHT & RESCUE SPECIALIST

General Capability Profile
·

To conduct trainings for work at height and rescue safety, scaffolding, material handling, work on aerial/mobile elevated work platforms & First Aid at client sites Pan India for managers, supervisors, riggers/workers.
·

To carry out training delivery and assessment (theory, practical and on-the-job) and ensure that these are conducted according to stipulated syllabus, course structure and requirement.
·

To develop and improve training material to better facilitate learning and assessment
·

Should be working/have worked preferably as a Work at Height & Rescue Trainer/safety officer, preferably in telecom or construction industry. Other industries experience can also apply.
·

Should be physically and medically fit to work at height
·

Should be able to interact with client, trainees and management effectively.
·

Having good instructional, interpersonal & presentation skills.
·

Having good communication skills both verbal & written.
·

Basic computer knowledge, excel, power point, e-mail, and working on basic software and mobile apps.
·

Manage and maintain up to date training databases, records and documentation in order to ensure traceability and retrieval
·

Self-motivated and able to work independently with strong work ethics.
·

Ability to work as part of a team.

Technical Capability Profile
·

Should preferably have an International Certificate for Work at Height and Rescue.
·

Experienced on rope work and fall arrest systems.
·

Knowledge and experience for rescue at height.
·

Knowledge of the PPE and rescue equipment used during work at height.
·

Knowledge of material lifting process for work at height.
·

Knowledge of knots and their utility.
·

Knowledge of vertical and horizontal lifelines’ installation and use.
·

Knowledge of the common working at height tasks and the associated risks.
·

Should be able to understand and identify the factors that contribute to persons and objects falling from height.
·

Knowledge of the control measures to reduce the risk of falling from height.
·

Certificate and Knowledge of First Aid
·

Prior experience of work at height in telecom /any construction project / plant will be an added advantage.

Qualifications

:
·

Advanced diploma/degree or equivalent in the area of study.
·

IRATA level 2 or 3
·

Certification on Work at height, Occupational Health & Safety, Scaffolding & First Aid.

Experience:

Minimum 04 years of experience as a Work at Height & Rescue trainer/specialist.
